It is most advanced type of computers which is popularly used for large data collection and information. It works very fast that is useful for a unique advance work.
It is advance and fast performance as compared to desktop computer that we use in our houses.

These are firstly came in 1960s and after some decades it is more advanced.

FLOPS(floating point Operation per second)
And MIPS(millions instructions per second)
are commonly used to measure the working or performance speed of such special types of computer.

It needs special type of programming techniques which is order by parallel architectures of super computers.


Many developing countries like China, United States, japan and European countries build it more faster, powerful.
It is used in scientific purpose, weather forecast, climate research molecular modelling,and oil gas exploration.
