What is internet of things(IoT)?

IoT is a system of interconnected things through networks(like internet). All the connected things are programmable, intelligent and also interact with peoples to share important knowledges.

Basically it has two terms that defines it.
  1. 'Internet' means network of many devices that can communicate with each other.
  2. 'Things' means daily used product basically in this part we are talking about electricals and electronic things.

Internet of Things(IoT) is collection of many device which can communicate through a network (WiFi or home gateways) and take a desirable action to achieve certain goals or objectives.

How IoT devices Work?


All the things contains Sensor which collects data from surrounding and shared to Cloud and then after analysing the data provides the real time response through actuators.

The visible world is much different from what is happening in there because our new researchers develop every time some new things which is most different from other one. This advance techniques are expanding very rapidly in whole world.

There are huge amount of data is collected from the users and provides valuable information and it tells about users interest, behaviour and need. Different types of companies use combination of technology, data analytics and users behaviour. This whole framework used to collect data, analyse and after understanding they responds to different types of humans need. this algorithms are also known as machine learning. this helps to influence the users and sataisfy their desired goal. That improves the quality of products and services of customers.

in just few years, the word internet of things takes sharp growth in innovation technology and continously growing. 

History

Traditional fields of embedded technology, wireless sensor networks, control systems, automation and different types of electronic devices all contribute to enabling the Internet of Things.


It can assist in the integration of communications, information processing across various transportation systems and various types technology.


Application

In the consumer market, IoT technology is most similar to the concept of the "smart home", covering devices and  CCTV security systems and cameras that support one or more common ecosystems, and can be controlled via special type of robots that are trained by humans.
Smart wearable devices, Smart Refrigerators, Smart Car, Doorbells, Smart Switches for fans and lights and RFID Tags are some of the examples where iot devices plays an important roles.
Application of the IoT extends to all aspects of technology enabled gadgets Dynamic interaction between these components of a transport system enables communication, smart traffic control, smart parking, smart vehicle control, safety, and road assistance.
