NodeMCU

NodeMCU - (MCU = stands for MicroController Unit(which really means it is a computer on a single chip))

NodeMCU is an open source platform based on ESP8266 which can connect objects and let data transfer using the WiFi protocol.

NodeMCU is an open source firmware and development kit that helps you to prototype or build IOT products. The NodeMCU development board can be easily programmed using the Arduino IDE

Microcontroller - ESP-8266 32 bit

clock speed = 80 Mhz

operating voltage = 3.3 volts

input voltage = 4.5 - 10 volts

FlashRAM(SRAM) - 4MB/64Kb

Digital i/o pins - 11

Analog i/o pin - 1

ADC Range - 0 - 3.3 volts

Application

Prototyping of IoT devices

Low power battery operated applications
